Tasting Notes:
A glass full of rich, ripe well rounded pronounced ripe fruit flavours with an untamed spicy edge and deep rich colour. Supple and smooth yet still well structured.

Viticulture:
A safari of vineyard sites are selected for the very best grapes, from warmer Southern mountain slopes and rolling hills, basking in long hours of sunlight to cooler pockets of vines and valley floors swept by African Ocean breezes. This ensures ultimate expression of cultivar and land. Our Cape climate allows the vines to drink in the winter rainfall and ripen slowly in the warm summer season before harvesting in late February at full powerful ripeness (24°C)

Winemaking:
Fermented on the skins for 7 days with three aerations to unleash inherent colours and flavours. Once dry, pressing takes place and the young wine is placed onto French and American oak before malolactic fermentation. A further 3 months on the wood captures thorough integration and complexity.
